I was a little disappointed with "Flight of the Wounded Falcon". I usually finish the Forest books in a day but this took me weeks; I just could stay focused on the story line. Now in all fairness it could be due to the certain plot lines Sorry if I tell more it will ruin it for those who haven't read yet. My disappointment in this book will not stop me from buying the next in the series. I have absolutely loved this series and just because this one failed to enthrall me doesn't mean that I won't enjoy the next one.Mrs. Mercer, if you read this, please don't take it personally. I have thoroughly enjoyed your previous Forest books and look forward to the next one.

As the rest of the series, this book is excellent. Emotions run high. There are a few typos, but the story is heart wrenching and I cannot wait for the next book!
Awesome continuation of the series. Do yourself a favor and start at book one... You won't regret it. These books have it all... Action, adventure, throw in a little romance, and real to life relationships... But the best part? No shallowness here. These books can make you stop and think about yourself, others, and the world around you.
This one, number 6, will keep you holding your breath and on your tiptoes waiting for number 7!
Love this story! The series is fantastic as it takes us to another world. It is powerful and touching and really makes you think about what is important in your own life. Can't wait to read the next book.☺
Excellent series. Highly recommend. Good character development. Good story line. Nothing nasty or distasteful. Manages to tell a story that interests, provokes thought, and entertains without resorting to gratuitous sex, violence or gore.
I love this series. It took me a few chapters of the first book to decide if I liked the story, but I settled into it and came to view the characters as real people. The story line is complex enough to keep me interested and guessing, but not confused. The religious tone is in harmony with my standards and has given me many opportunities for personal reflection. The writing is witty and clean. Trish Mercer has great command of words and is a talented story teller! Don't read any of these books out of order, and don't be surprised to find yourself laughing out loud, wiping away tears, or wondering what the characters are doing when you aren't reading (because they become real to you)!
In spite of theological differences, I enjoyed this book, and I am looking forward to the next few. The author is extremely talented, and weaves a creative and captivating tale. Unfortunately because of the theological idea of a Creator that destroys, I cannot recommend this book. John 1010

The bigger picture seems to become more intricate as these books progress, and as difficult as it was to read some of the events that occur in the story, I love the direction that Trish Mercer has taken with certain characters. It is an epic journey, and I have a feeling that I will struggle to find a book series that could top this one.
